Manufactured from key nylon intermediates such as adiponitrile (ADN) and hexamethylene diamine (HMD), Nylon 6,6 is a high tenacity fiber available in multiple yarn types and deniers. It originates in flake form, which is then melted and shaped for plastic applications, or extruded as fibers for yarn applications, including carpet, airbags, and outdoor equipment.
